COMMUNITY SERVICES.
We strive to support and empower individuals by providing guidance, education, and opportunities that foster personal growth and community well-being. Through our initiatives, we aim to create a positive impact and promote inclusivity, resilience, and meaningful change.

PRISON PROJECT
We are dedicated to spreading compassion and support, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Every year, our dedicated group of mothers gathers together to raise funds specifically for this meaningful project.
Through this initiative, we donate essential items such as dua books, prayer mats, date boxes, and candy jars, providing comfort and aiding them in breaking their fast with dignity.
For the past few years, we've proudly extended our support to two prisons in Wolverhampton: HM Prison Oakwood, a private facility, and HM Prison Brinsford. It's our privilege to contribute to the well-being and spiritual fulfilment of those observing Ramadan behind bars, fostering a sense of community and solidarity even in the most challenging circumstances.

CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT
We’re proud to be a partner in Blues Go Green, a new climate action project led by Birmingham City FC Foundation, focused on improving local parks, supporting young people, and making our communities cleaner, greener and more connected.
As part of the project, we’ll be leading community activities in four local green spaces, starting with Sara Park in Small Heath. This includes clean-up days, youth-led events, and volunteering opportunities, with a focus on involving the people who live here and giving young people a real voice in shaping their neighbourhoods.
We’re also working with BVSC to support a new Volunteer Hub, helping more local people get involved and take action on the issues that matter to them. Whether it’s through mentoring, sport or community work, this is about coming together to build something that lasts.

DCYC AWARDS NIGHT
The Dream Chaser Awards Night is a highly anticipated annual event that celebrates achievements, acknowledges contributions, and brings the community together. The evening welcomes volunteers, funders, teams, local police, football coaches, players, their families, and everyone connected to Dream Chaser. It is a moment to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and express heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported and participated in our mission.
Highlights of the event include the presentation of medals and awards to football players who have demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the season. Gifts are also presented to the boys and girls who have participated in our mentoring sessions, as a token of appreciation for their dedication and growth. A comprehensive presentation showcases the year’s activities, services, and community initiatives, offering insights into the impact of our work.
The evening concludes with a communal meal and a celebratory cake-cutting, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. The Dream Chaser Awards Night is a meaningful celebration of teamwork, dedication, and the collective efforts that drive our community forward.

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING AND CELEBRATIONS
Dream Chaser Centre is dedicated to supporting those in need through various fundraising initiatives and community events. We organise events such as fun fairs to raise money for causes like the Turkey and Syria earthquake and ongoing efforts to support those in Palestine.
In addition to fundraising, we also celebrate important events together as a community. We host gatherings for occasions like the coronation of King Charles and Iftar nights during Ramadan, bringing people together to share in moments of joy and gratitude.
These initiatives not only provide critical support to those in need but also strengthen community bonds, promoting unity and compassion in times of both celebration and challenge.

HOLIDAY CAMP
Our Holiday Camps provide children and young people with a safe, fun, and engaging environment during school breaks. Held every spring, summer, and winter, these programmes offer a range of exciting activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal development.
Each camp is designed to make the most of the holidays — with four-day sessions in spring and winter, and an extended sixteen-day programme in summer. Through sports, games, arts, and interactive learning, participants build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
We are proud to continue offering these camps year after year, supporting families and giving young people opportunities to stay active, connected, and inspired throughout the holidays.
