COMMUNITY SERVICES

Breaking the Cycle Of Youth Violence.png

BREAKING THE CYCLE OF YOUTH VIOLENCE

Our BTC project is centred around providing a tailored approach to address and mitigate serious violence among children primarily aged 10-16, with a specific focus on those from Muslim communities. Through our early prevention and intervention model, we collaborate closely with schools, social services, and youth justice organisations.

Our aim is to support children, young people, and families in making positive life decisions, fostering healthier peer relationships, improving family dynamics, and increasing awareness of available support services.

Additionally, our project extends beyond individual interventions to raise community awareness about violence prevention, contributing to the creation of safer and more cohesive communities for all.

PRISON PROJECT

We are dedicated to spreading compassion and support, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Every year, our dedicated group of mothers gathers together to raise funds specifically for this meaningful project.

Through this initiative, we donate essential items such as dua books, prayer mats, date boxes, and candy jars, providing comfort and aiding them in breaking their fast with dignity.

For the past few years, we've proudly extended our support to two prisons in Wolverhampton: HM Prison Oakwood, a private facility, and HM Prison Brinsford. It's our privilege to contribute to the well-being and spiritual fulfilment of those observing Ramadan behind bars, fostering a sense of community and solidarity even in the most challenging circumstances

COFFEE MORNING SESSION

Our coffee morning sessions offer a perfect opportunity for ladies to unwind, catch up with friends, and socialize over a sip of coffee and delectable snacks. Beyond the cozy ambiance, we also strive to enrich our gatherings with insightful workshops covering various topics such as health awareness, family matters, and the challenges immigrants face when settling down in the UK. These discussions provide a platform for sharing experiences, seeking advice, and fostering a sense of community among participants.

EVERY WEDNESDAY | 10 AM - 12 PM

We also offer a distinct coffee morning session once a month, specifically designed for moms with special needs. This intimate gathering provides a supportive space for moms facing unique challenges to connect, unwind, and share their experiences.
